You may have realised by now, but any form of 'hairdressing' for me at it's core, must be intentional and relational.
And this latest experience for me was no different.
In this vlog, I share with you the connection I have with Xavier Catholic College Wurrumiyanga, on Bathurst Island in the Tiwi Islands, which is home to the Tiwi people.
I'm always amazed at how hairdressing is one of those amazing 'connection' services, which has taken me to all parts of the world, and sat me with the many different peoples of the world.
And in our western society, something as simple as having your hair done is almost a chore, or taken for granted. But in some parts of the world still, it is a rare speciality.
I hope you enjoy my sharing of the way hairdressing can connect us, put a smile on our faces, and empower us.
Renée xx
